"Infected" nothing, it's just an anime. The internet was infected with anime a looong time ago.

And @Lea, I'm assuming you mean anything Japanese. What if I don't like Halo or Chowder? Am I restricted to the United States? Because Touhou is a game series and Higurashi is a show. That's nothing compared to Japanese fangirls whose vocabularies are filled with "OMG that's uber-kawaii desu! ~ze". They sicken even die-hard Touhou fans, and there's a bunch of them.

Illegal, hmm. Well all the music I have is made on the interwebz, for the interwebz. If you're downloading Green Day, Social Distortion and whatever it is you guys listen to, kind of. It's more of a morals thing. You can download as many songs as you want without hurting anything. Share them with a few friends or whatever. But if you did so with say, 200,000+ people, I'd say that would be worth noticing as illegal.

The service itself isn't illegal, since it's how you use it that decides. That's like saying Hypercam is illegal.

Anyways, I have a site for downloading videos&audio(mp4), but I can't really do that on my DSi, so wait a day or two.

This place really does need more stuff to post on.

Higurashi's a horror-mystery anime about, basically, people going insane and usually ending up killing most/some of the other main characters. Every 4-6 episodes is another 'arc', the story starting over a while back and playing differently. There's three seasons, 26 episodes in the first, 26ish in the second and 4-5 in the third.
The first season is mainly getting to know the main characters, piecing together more fragments of the story every arc, and watching the one character go insane every arc and have the others die. It's pretty gory. Most of the time, the first episode will be your average 'cute, lolis and peplez doing st00f', the second is usually more serious, more story, and the start of someone going insane and killing people. The third is usually the same, but by then you should know pretty well who's crazy, so you'll be waiting to see what happens. The fourth and sometimes fifth episode is usually the gory murder/torcher/most important story pieces. The first three are just set up for it basically. :P
Keep in mind the mystery is not "Who killed who". It's figuring out the backstory, and then why they're going insane in the first place.
Behind the murdering/death though, the story really is interesting. If you no-life your computer often, you'll probably get addicted like so many others and watch 8 hours of it in a few days. If not you'll come back here and tell me how stupid it is, how stupid I am and how stupid life is. Whatever.

The second season is about Rika, how she's been reliving the story through all the 'arcs' for technically around a hundred years. She's the only one that remembers the past each time, usually. Towards the end of season 1 and in season 2, some of the other main characters start remembering things, mostly that they went insane and killed people. They tend to keep eachother from killing people in this season more.

Basically, watch the first season for sure. If you're at all interested in the story, watch season 2. If you just want gore, I hear you should check out Elfen Lied. There's always comments saying "Eh, that's okay, but Elfen Lied is way worse."

Season two; Mion, Shion, Rena and Keiichi beating the crap out of some noobs who wanted to kill Rika and Satoko.

Season 1 on anime-sub.com.

Season 2, Episode 1 on Youtube.

I'm sure Elfen Lied is somewhere on anime-sub too, but I can't be bothered to find it.

*ALSO*There is actually a third season, about 5 episodes long, "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei", replace Kai with Rei. The first episode's... 'Your average anime', pretty funny I guess. The second.. Crap happens and you'll wish it didn't. ^^ Then two episodes and the 'end'. It turns out fine, but Hanyuu is a little bit of a jerk. >_<

Because you guys definitely need more topics.

A.K.A. Tutorial on how to take 1-15* seconds of a Youtube video and put it basically anywhere (Anywhere a GIF file works, anyways.), and how to download all the sound from a Youtube video and convert it into an MP3 file.

So, since I'm always finding a new song or video I love on Youtube, sooner or later I find sites like the ones you use to do [above].

Gifsoup: Animated GIF files for forums and etcetera. (WARNING: Thanks to "Private Videos", the gallery can be NSFW.) (I.E. They can make GIFs out of videos that would normally be removed.)
With Gifsoup, you can take any Youtube video and choose any 1-15* seconds of it, then convert it into a GIF file to use nearly anywhere.
Basically, all you have to do is (I think you have to make an account. You might as well though, to save your old GIFs.) enter the URL of the Youtube video you want to take 1-15*(This is getting annoying..) seconds from, wait for it to take it for a while.. Usually no more than 2 minutes at most. Then, it'll load the video for you to see(Easier to have the video open on Youtube in another tab), and all you have to do is choose the starting and ending time of the part you want. Remember, it can only be 15* seconds long at most. Also, sometimes, since certain videos are rendered differently, the time might be off. Always preview and make sure it's perfect before finishing. If it seems off from say 1:45-1:55, try 1:43-1:53 and etc. until it works right. After saving it, it'll bring you to a page with your finished GIF. There'll be several codes to C&P, but the only ones you really need are the "Direct Link" one for your profile picture, and the "Code for forums" one.
Example, my 'gallery'. http://www.gifsoup.com/account/coleshot1
With the "Code for forums", they have it set so that when you click the picture it takes you to gifsoup.com. If you really want to, you can remove that.
[ URL=http://www.gifsoup.com/view/1234908/jumper-reisen-waves.html[[IMG[http://www.gifsoup.com/imager.php?id=1234908[/IMG[[/URL[ [ URL=http://www.gifsoup.com/[GIFSoup[/URL[
That's, for example, one of my Reisen GIFs. That's the code you get if you C&P it.(With bracket..things reversed.) If you want to remove the clicking=gifsoup.com, get rid of the "[ url=*url*[", "www.gifsoup.com/', and "[/url[", leaving only the [img[ ones. That was kind of complicated, so if you don't get it, ask me here.

*For $2.95 a month, you can make your account "Premium", which makes making GIFs faster, lets you make them 10 seconds longer (25), removes the watermark, and etc.

Listentoyoutube: Take all audio directly from a Youtube video and download it as an MP3 file.
This one's much simpler. Basically, since I'm tired of typing now, you go to http://listentoyoutube.com/ , copy the url of a Youtube video (E.G. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4GqnQ06GBM ) to the 'Enter YouTube URL' spot, and press Go. After that, wait for it to get the audio, click Download MP3(or whatever), on the next page click the second one I think.. The first that actually works, save it to wherever and you're done. No account needed, no limit from what I can tell. If you hit a limit, you should take the time to listen to the thousand songs you just downloaded.

The only other thing would be the High-Quality download. The only difference with that is you have to wait for a 'high-quality' slot before downloading the song. Basically wait for whoever's using a slot to finish, which shouldn't take more than a minute, from my experience.

So, that's about it. If you see any mistakes or have any questions at all, tell me here.
